Rotary depositor module (RDM)
A versatile chip production solution
The RDM unit is suitable for production of chocolate chips sized between 60,000 and 300 pcs/kg at throughput rates of up to 2,000 kg/hour. Based on our market-leading Rotoform pastillation technology, this is a complete in-feed solution, delivering chips of a highly uniform size and shape, ideal for handling, blending, storage, and further processing.
Single pass chip/drop molding lines or standalone solution
This versatile chocolate chip depositor forms the basis of our complete single pass chocolate production lines. It can be supplied as an end-to-end production line based on either a steel or plastic belt system. It is also available as a standalone unit for existing steel or plastic belt cooling lines.
Reliable production of a high-quality product
A high-pressure feed and no linear movement of the rotary depositor mean that production is extremely reliable with minimal maintenance requirements.
Easy switchover to different sizes for flexible chip production
The outer depositor shell can be removed and replaced to enable production of chips of a different size, with changeover in less than 30 minutes.
Additional flexibility with chunk production
RDM-based single pass lines can also incorporate chunk production. The IPCO Strip Extruder Module is capable of meeting all standard height and width requirements and can be installed between the Rotary Depositor Module and the cooling tunnel. A high-speed Servo Cutter then produces accurately sized chunks.
