IPCO showcases steel belt strength and service expertise at IndiaWood 2026

IPCO, a global leader in steel belt manufacturing, will use this year’s IndiaWood fair to showcase the quality of its belts and the wraparound service support package it provides to customers across India and beyond.

Exhibiting in Hall 5 at Booth K509, IPCO will also present its latest ProRelease system, an innovative release agent application technology delivering significant improvements in quality, productivity and operating costs.

Steel press belts and service expertise

IPCO’s high performance steel press belts are widely used in the manufacture of wood-based panel products such as particleboard, MDF, OSB, and LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber).

For IndiaWood 2026, the company will highlighting the critical role that professional service support plays in maintaining productivity in the WBP industry.

From its service centre in Pune, Maharashtra, IPCO provides installation, maintenance and repair services to panel producers across India, as well as neighbouring markets such as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Local teams are supported by IPCO’s global Press Priority Team, a specialist group of belt service engineers available to assist customers anywhere in the world.

Release agent system improves quality and reduces cost

IPCO’s ProRelease system represents a step-change in the application of release agents to steel press belts. The process features a unique spray bar design, one that forms an ultra-fine mist of release agent that is applied evenly across the belt surface, ensuring consistent, precise, and homogeneous coverage.

This controlled application delivers clear benefits in terms of product quality, enabling clean release of panels while keeping belts cleaner for longer. Increased process efficiency supports higher productivity, with faster pressing cycles and reduced downtime for cleaning and maintenance. At the same time, optimised dosing dramatically reduces release agent consumption, with one major MDF producer reporting savings of up to 90%.

ScatterPro precision scattering technology

IPCO will also be highlighting its market-leading ScatterPro technology. The system is used in the manufacture of safety flooring, abrasion-resistant surfaces and a wide range of other advanced and sustainable composite materials, offering manufacturers outstanding control, accuracy and repeatability in scattering applications.
