At IPCO, we know that sustainability matters – to our customers and to us. We’re preparing our business for the future by continuously improving our sustainability approach. In this way, we’re also making a difference by enabling the green transition.
Sustainability report 2025
Our 2025 Sustainability report is a testament to this ethos, capturing our pursuit of innovation, efficiency, business and social ethics and environmental stewardship. We invite you to explore how we've pushed boundaries, challenged the status quo, and harnessed cutting-edge technologies to drive transformational change in the industrial processing sector. This annual report isn't merely an account of our progress but a narrative of our ongoing journey towards a more sustainable and resource-efficient world.
Environment
As a global industrial processing company, we negatively affect the climate through our supplier operations, our own operations and through the energy usage of our sold equipment at customer sites. We have climate reduction targets for 2030 and 2050, in line with the Paris agreement. We are putting in place annual targets and actions for CO2 emissions reduction, including the production of energy efficient machines for our customers.
Environment
Recycled steel represents the largest proportion of material we use in our operations. We promote the circular economy by addressing the resources we purchase and how efficiently we use them. Through our targets for 2030, we will increase the proportion of fossil-free and recycled materials, and minimize the amount we scrap from our own operations. We also work hard to extend the life of our products through our aftermarket program.
Social
As a responsible employer with over 600 employees, IPCO has had targets and carried out activities to address our priority areas of health and safety, gender equality and labor standards for many years. Employee wellbeing has recently been added as a new priority area. We are now working to refine our existing targets and identify new activities to address these four areas.
Social
IPCO has a Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines the labor, ethical and environmental standards we expect of our Tier 1 suppliers; they are asked to ensure the same of their own sub-suppliers. Our work in the coming years will focus on collecting more detailed data about workers throughout the value chain and developing a process to audit compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct, especially in high-risk countries and suppliers.
Governance
IPCO does business in most countries around the world, and we comply with applicable laws, regulations and standards. We work systematically and preventively to ensure each employee acts with integrity and high ethics in all business relationships. As well as our employee Code of Conduct, we have policies and e-learnings on anti-trust regulations and to prevent bribery and corruption.
At IPCO, we are enabling the transition towards a more sustainable planet and society. Our customers need help processing sustainable materials, such as recycled materials and bio-based materials, and we can make a positive difference to the circular economy through our technologies. We also manufacture equipment for the production at scale of renewable energy solutions, such as battery components.
