Flooring
IPCO technology is used across the world to produce a wide range of high-quality, hard-wearing floor coverings. From luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) and stone plastic composite (SPC) to non-directional homogeneous PVC flooring and more, our solutions combine scattering and double belt pressing in the same production line – for maximum efficiency.
With lower energy costs, simplified maintenance and a single system covering the entire process, from scattering to finished product, IPCO’s solutions help reduce overall manufacturing costs for flooring types including Wood Plastic Composite Floors, non pvc vinyl flooring and high density rubber flooring.
IPCO provides complete control of every aspect of the process, allowing you to adapt the temperature profile, pressure profile and line speed at each stage. This then also means it’s straightforward to switch product types and lamination processes, for example for luxury vinyl tile production.
Flooring produced on IPCO machinery offers impressive surface smoothness and dimensional stability. You will see no pattern distortion on decorative surfaces, such as on stone composite lvt flooring or vinyl composite tiles (VCT).
IPCO solutions enable manufacturers to complete entire production processes in a single system. For example, for carpet backing, our scattering machines can be used to produce the core layer (e.g. PVC dry blend), while a glass fiber felt is unwound in between to provide dimensional stability. These layers are then thermopressed to form a backing layer. Additional layers such as print film, wear layers and lacquering can be laminated afterwards.
Work closely with the material science specialists at our productivity centers to develop and test eco-friendly flooring materials such as Cork Plastic Composite Flooring (CPC) for sustainable floor tiles. They can also support you with product trials including for flooring and carpet tiles made from recycled material. There are two different presses available for use.
