IPCO to highlight integrated battery manufacturing solutions at Solid State Battery Summit 2026

11 - 12th August 2026 | Chicago | Stand 8

IPCO will showcase its expanded battery manufacturing capabilities at the Solid State Battery Summit 2026, demonstrating how its integrated technologies support the continuous production of next-generation battery materials and components. The company will exhibit at Stand 8 and present its latest developments in advanced battery manufacturing during a conference session on 12 August.

A key focus will be IPCO's ability to deliver a complete production workflow for dry electrode and solid-state battery applications. By combining roll-to-roll processing, web handling, coating, calendering and double belt pressing technologies, manufacturers can move from individual process steps to a continuous and scalable production line.

The expanded offering follows IPCO's acquisition of New Era, a specialist in web converting equipment. The addition strengthens IPCO's capabilities in web handling, coating, laminating, embossing and calendering, complementing the company's established expertise in double belt pressing and continuous processing solutions.

Together, these technologies enable the preparation, densification and lamination of electrode materials within a single integrated workflow. Electrode materials are processed using web handling and coating technologies before entering IPCO's double belt press systems, where precisely controlled pressure and temperature are applied to create high-quality, multi-layer electrode structures.

This approach addresses critical challenges in advanced battery manufacturing, including scale-up, process consistency and product quality. Continuous processing also supports higher production volumes while maintaining the precise control required for dry electrode and solid-state battery technologies. Similar IPCO solutions are already supporting industrial-scale electrode production and battery manufacturing projects worldwide.

Phil Koppenhofer, Global Segment Manager Energy Storage Solutions of IPCO, said: “The summit provides an excellent opportunity to engage directly with manufacturers working on next-generation battery technologies. Our specialists will showcase how integrated web converting and double belt press solutions can support continuous production, helping customers improve process efficiency, product quality and scalability from pilot stage through to commercial manufacturing.”

The Solid State Battery Summit provides an opportunity for battery developers, manufacturers and technology partners to explore how integrated processing solutions can accelerate the transition from pilot-scale development to commercial production.
