IPCO introduced the world’s first steel belt conveyor in 1901
IPCO’s 4–6 hour QuickDisc service replaces a damaged area in your steel belt quickly and easily with a new matching steel disc. The new disc is usually cut from the spare belt plate IPCO supplies with each new belt. But if your belt has become thinner over time (e.g. through use of abrasive brushes), it will no longer match the spare plate. In this case – or if you no longer have the spare plate – we will match its thickness with a disc on stock.
If you are planning a QuickDisc repair and think you need a disc on stock, ask for a local IPCO service technician to measure the belt thickness around the point of damage and check the material. They will contact our Global Service team, who will confirm the best disc for the job and ensure it is delivered to your local market. That way, your disc replacement can go ahead as planned. In fact, the replacement process will be even faster, with no need for manual grinding.
We stock prepared discs in steel grade 1650 and diameters of 210 mm to 480 mm to get you sorted without delay. Other diameters can be manufactured to your specifications.
We are the undeniable leaders in manufacturing double belt presses and scattering systems, with around 150 installations worldwide. We also have over 30 years’ experience in belt press disc repairs.
We understand the importance for our customers of maintaining a smooth, flat press and of maximizing uptime. For this reason, we developed the QuickDisc Family Tools. And to make it even faster when there could otherwise be a delay, we maintain a supply of discs on stock.
