The ScatterPro FX is a high-capacity system that builds on the proven strengths of our ScatterPro F model to scatter significantly greater volumes of fibrous products. This includes larger fibers, dissimilar products, and reclaimed/recycled materials.
The ScatterPro FX is a performance-enhanced addition to our fiber scattering range, offering X-tra volume, X-tra capacity, and X-tra sustainability, while also saving on energy and labor costs.
The ScatterPro FX is built to meet tomorrow’s process needs. It can scatter large fibers and can even scatter dissimilar products (e.g. wood, foam, glass, plastic) without separating. This ultra-versatile process line can handle just about anything you throw at it.

How it works
The fiber material is fed to the scatter coater hopper by means of a vacuum or auger feeding device. Inside the hopper the fiber is uniformly distributed and the level is kept constant during the scattering process.
For bulk materials that tend to bridge due to their flow properties, a specially designed agitator is installed above the metering roller (scattering roller) to prevent bridging.
The fiber material is taken up by the scattering roller and the excess removed by a rigid doctor blade.
The accurately dosed material is then conveyed by the roller to the rotary brush-off system. The counter rotating brush roller cleans the roller and deposits the material onto the substrate or conveyor below.
