ThermoPress CB combines the advantages of PTFE belts with the high-pressure, high-temperature steel belt modules for double belt press lamination. No other supplier can offer this.
The ThermoPress CB combines all the key advantages of PTFE coated belts – easy release, lower investment cost – with the high-pressure performance capabilities of steel belt modules. This means you get high pressure where it’s needed most, without the investment cost associated with an all-steel belt press.
PTFE conveyor belts transport the product the entire length of the system until it reaches the forming zone (between heating and cooling), where steel belts are integrated and apply pressure through the PTFE-coated belts.
This hybrid approach allows pressure of up to 20 bar to be delivered, enabling successful processing of all product types, even thick or hard-to-process materials. This unique design also means that high surface pressure can be applied onto the PTFE belts without affecting belt tension or operational life.
The ThermoPress CB is available in the following modules (all of which can be retrofitted to existing systems):

PTFE belts + isochoric (constant volume) steel belt press module
PTFE belts + isochoric (constant volume) steel belt press module with circulating rollers
PTFE belts + isobaric steel belt press module
The ThermoPress CB has double belt press lamination applications across a wide range of flooring types including homogeneous, heterogeneous, LVT, SPC, WPC, textile, PVC-free, safety flooring, and VCT. Other applications include thin films, insulating panels, carbon, side skirts, trailers, wood plastic composites.

Like all the Thermopress family, Thermopress CB double belt presses can be integrated into continuous production lines that incorporate additional process solutions. These low-pressure systems are based on PTFE belts and are used for consolidating and compacting two or more materials.
