There are four main types of ThermoPress double belt press, each with its own set of modular options to deliver different levels of heat and pressure.
The ThermoPress SB steel double belt press is a high-performance system featuring high temperature belts top and bottom to deliver heating and cooling under pressure in one continuous process. It is used to process thermoset and thermoplastic composite materials.
The ThermoPress SB delivers reliable, high-productivity processing of thermoplastic composites and thermoset composite materials via a high temperature belt. The system can be customized with a range of modules.
The modular design enables controlled heating, reaction, pressing, cooling, and tempering to be incorporated into a single system, resulting in highly efficient process solutions. We also provide all necessary controls, such as edge guiding and tension control, to ensure both efficient press operation and optimum product quality.
Key benefits of IPCO steel belts include a flat, hard, smooth surface for a high-quality finish, high thermal conductivity for efficient and controlled processing as a high temperature press, and durability for maximum productivity and long-term cost-effectiveness.
This double belt press is available in three modules, which can be mixed to give you the optimum quality/cost ratio.

ThermoPress TB
These low-pressure systems are based on PTFE belts and are used for consolidating and compacting two or more materials.

ThermoPress CB
CombiBelt presses combine the advantages of PTFE belts with the high-pressure performance of steel belt modules.

ThermoPress SB
These presses feature steel belts throughout to deliver high pressure and temperature.

ThermoPress HB
These hybrid presses combine the Class A surface structure of a steel belt with the economy and release quality of a PTFE belt.
