There are four main types of ThermoPress double belt press, each with its own set of modular options to deliver different levels of heat and pressure.
The ThermoPress HB is a low-pressure range that combines easy-release PTFE belts with the high-quality surface structure of steel belts. Designed for the continuous consolidation and compacting of two or more materials, as in composite cladding, this system enables higher-quality end products and a high pressure press with lower production costs.
The ThermoPress HB double belt press brings the surface quality of a steel belt to the world of PTFE presses for the first time.
Combining the unsurpassed release quality of a PTFE belt with the unique surface structure of a steel belt, the ThermoPress HB enables the economical production of composite products with a Class A surface on one side.
The system is based on our ThermoPress TB double belt press, which uses PTFE-coated belts top and bottom. In the HB series, a special, very thin steel belt is used at the bottom, applying a high-quality surface to one side of the product, without the heavier engineering associated with a steel belt press.
The ThermoPress HB is available in a choice of four modules:
Double belt ThermoPress with nip rollers
Double belt ThermoPress with nip rollers and heating/cooling
Double belt ThermoPress with nip rollers and S-roller
Double belt ThermoPress with nip rollers, S-roller, and counter-pressure roller
This range offers the ideal solution when a high quality surface is needed, such as cladding or the many composite materials used across the automotive industry for interiors/exteriors, body parts, RVs, trucks/trailers and containers.

ThermoPress TB
These low-pressure systems are based on PTFE belts and are used for consolidating and compacting two or more materials.

ThermoPress CB
CombiBelt presses combine the advantages of PTFE belts with the high-pressure performance of steel belt modules.

ThermoPress SB
These presses feature steel belts throughout to deliver high pressure and temperature.

ThermoPress HB
These hybrid presses combine the Class A surface structure of a steel belt with the economy and release quality of a PTFE belt.
