Built on the same design principles as our premium PCX range, the SCX imparts less intense power, ideal for a workhorse operation. The co-rotating, twin-screw extruders ensure uniform distribution and dispersal of dry materials, producing a consistent and homogeneous melt ready for cooling and flaking.
The SCX range is simpler, more cost-effective than the more versatile PCX, while enhancing modular construction and simplifying maintenance requirements.

SCX extruder
Our SCX extruders provide efficient, budget friendly homogenisation of complex materials like thermoset powder coatings, ensuring uniform dispersion and distribution of materials.
Material handling – The feeding throats minimise bottle necks allowing for the consumption of material for processing consistent volume.
Extrusion process – Sufficient power to process most powder coating materials in a single pass.
Temperature control – 360° ringfenced cooling system with enhanced thermal transfer allowing each zone (typically seven) precise control over temperature spikes and early catalysation.
User-friendly design – with safety and accessibility in mind, the SCX makes maintenance effortless. Key features include a hydraulically assisted clamshell process barrel, spring-mounted tie-down bolts, and a non-stick discharge knife. Seamless screw elements fit together in only one configuration, shafts can be changed in minutes, and interchangeable liners simplify upkeep.
